UPDATE - 11/16/09

The Kickstand Ramp:  The mini ramp at The Kickstand Pub is finally becoming a reality!  Started going up today, and should be finished (sans painting) by tomorrow.  And should be open to skate by this Sunday!  It’s an incredible privilege to have someone like the Kickstand, that supports our community.  Gonna give us a pretty rad place to spend the winter...stay tuned for more details!  And here’s some pics from the build tonight.

UPDATE - 1/9/10

Long Overdue:  We apologize for the lack of updates lately.  We’ve been so busy prepping for the Cow Town Showdown (@ The Arnold Fitness Expo) in March, as well as filming, and working on new product.  We hope you all had a safe and fun Holiday!  It’s now 2010, and this year has already started off great for us, and we hope to grow even more!  We’re so excited about The Cow Town Showdown, it’s going to be so huge, and so important for skateboarding, in not only Columbus, but the Midwest as a whole.  We will be doing a demo on Saturday, along with Blueprint Skateboards....we’re very excited about that, and very honored to be sharing the stage with our friends from over the pond.  So stay tuned, we’ll be having much more big updates in the coming weeks!

The Kickstand Ramp:  It took a lot longer to get finished than most of us thought.  It was the small details that had to get worked out, before we could really open it to the public.  But, the wait is over!  Tomorrow (1/10/10), the ramp officially opens to the public!!!  For now it will be open during Kickstand’s normal operating hours on Sundays and Mondays.  Since this is a bar, you will have to be over 21.  And there will be a waiver to sign.  So make sure you come check it out....a place for you to skate during these crazy cold days, and have a drink or two.  Hope to see you there!

UPDATE - 1/24/10

The Cow Town Showdown:  It’s getting closer!!!  Things are shaping up quite nicely for the Cow Tow Showdown.  More and more people and companies are hopping on board each week, because they see how big this really is going to be!  March 6th and 7th at Vets Memorial!  Be sure you make it out....it’s going to be epic!  You can register for the contest(s) at www.arnoldsportsfestival.com or at the contest(s), the day of.  Though, there are a limited amount of spots...so if you wait until the day of, there’s no telling how many spots will be left.  Just a word of caution.  Be sure to check out Minty’s interview on the Festival’s site as well, see what he says about being involved with the Showdown.  Also...on the night of March 5th, we’ll be throwing a pre-party at The Kickstand Pub, with our homeboys from Blueprint!  There will be a ramp contest, and some giveaways......just mayhem in general.  Once again, be sure to check out www.arnoldsportsfestival.com for all the info you need about the Cow Town Showdown.  We hope to see you there!

UPDATE - 2/13/10

Skate Naked:  Columbus gets a new indoor park!  This place seemed to come out of nowhere...but here we are after just a short time of hearing about it, and it’s open to the public!  20,000 square of street madness!  Located at 1281 Edgehill Rd., make sure you swing by and check this place out.  For more info, hit up www.skate-naked.com

UPDATE - 2/14/10

Boards, Bikes & Babes:  So the Cow Town Showdown is getting closer and closer.  We figured, a good way to start off that weekend...would be a pre-party at our favorite little bar with a mini ramp, The Kickstand Pub.  Not only will there be a winner take all ramp contest, a fashion show (which will most likely consist of hot chicks dancing on the bar in skater t-shirts), but...we’ve got some major pros flying in the day before, to help us kick off the weekend!  Paul Shier, Danny Brady, Fred Gall, Marty Murawski, and Jon Nguyen!  It’s going down C-Bus!  Our crew will be there as well.  So I hope y’all are ready for smash explosive party, to kick off the biggest skateboarding event Columbus has seen in years!  Be there...Friday, March 5th...no, seriously...be there.

UPDATE - 2/14/10
